Scarlett Johansson was born on November 22nd, 1984 at New York City New York. She is an American actor and singer whose talents have earned her recognition in a variety of kinds of genres, from thrillers to action films to period dramas. Johansson was born in New York City, and raised there by her father who was an architect and her mother, a producer. Hunter is the sister of Johansson was born in the city of New York. As a young girl of just 7 an old, the actress started auditioning for television commercials. Later she became known for her role as the cynical teenage Rebecca on the film Ghost World. Smith's parents aided her in landing her first acting role at age six. She made a commercial for Dannon. Like many young actresses she began her career in theatre. As she worked on other projects in the USA she also had her debut on stage in Wildflower. She studied at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory, part of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
